About Iboga Clinic
Iboga Clinic is an independent editorial project. We don't sell, refer to, or partner with treatment providers. We exist to make peer-reviewed evidence about ibogaine more legible to non-specialist readers.
Editorial standards
Every article is written by a named journalist or researcher and reviewed by a clinician or scientist with relevant subject-matter expertise before publication. Hedged language is preferred to definitive claims; preclinical findings are distinguished from clinical findings; and observational data is distinguished from randomized trial data.
We do not accept advertising, sponsored content, or payments from treatment clinics or pharmaceutical sponsors.
Medical reviewers
Articles are reviewed by physicians and researchers including specialists in addiction medicine, cardiology, pharmacology, and medical anthropology. Reviewer names and credentials appear on every article alongside the date of last review.
Sources & methodology
Our primary sources are peer-reviewed journal articles, regulatory filings, publicly available trial registrations, and direct correspondence with researchers. Where we cite observational data from non-trial settings, we say so. Where we cite animal models, we say so.
Corrections are issued openly. If you believe a claim on this site is inaccurate, contact the editorial desk and we will respond.
